It's only fair that I submit an updated review, now that the items have arrived. They are beautifully machined, and genuinely top quality.
I also have to thank the team for their quick response regarding my concern with the use of UPS in Europe, given their very poor reputation and service. Critical to investigate other options before it damages the BIONIC brand and reputation.

p.s. I hope you will consider doing "square coasters" for drinks. Would be an obvious match to this set ... with leather and even cork inserts.

The tray itself is beautiful, gorgeous design. What I didn’t notice is that the leather pads that sit inside the tray are all stamped Bionic, which I really don’t need 4 Bionics on display in my home. I didn’t buy this for branding, I bought it for elegance. Also the way it was shipped leaves a ton to be desired. At over $300 for a valet tray, I suppose I expected a premium unboxing experience. But no, the tray is shipped in a cheap cardboard box that was ripped open before it arrived and the tray was just plastic wrapped. The value isn’t there when you consider the whole experience, unfortunately.
